Rules

Free daily game: no wagering, entry fees, prizes, purchases or cash-equivalent rewards.

1. Everyone gets the same ten-fixture mixed-sports season. A standard daily season contains seven quick calls and three ordering challenges built from settled recent sport, verified knowledge and landmark sporting history.
2. For a quick call, choose the answer that meets the question exactly. A correct choice is a win; an incorrect choice is a loss. Quick-call fixtures cannot finish as a draw.
3. For an ordering challenge, place every displayed entry in the requested order. Scoring compares every pair: a three-entry order has three pairs and a five-entry order has ten pairs.
4. In a three-entry order, all three correct pairs is a win, two is a draw, and zero or one is a loss. In a five-entry order, nine or ten correct pairs is a win, seven or eight is a draw, and zero to six is a loss.
5. A win earns three points, a draw earns one and a loss earns zero. Ten fixtures are worth up to 30 points; 18 or more points wins that day’s title.
6. The official result, explanation and source links appear after each fixture. All ten correct answers are fixed before play using a SHA-256 commitment; compatible browsers independently verify the reveal after fixture ten.

Sources and corrections

Topical fixtures use settled results supplied through a paid TheSportsDB feed and link to the relevant competition or data-provider event record. Only championship-level results can enter the daily game automatically; ordinary scorelines and calculation exercises are rejected. Knowledge and timeline fixtures use a curated, source-linked catalog of recognisable facts and landmark events rather than arbitrary old regular-season scores. Fantasy Seasons credits TheSportsDB but is not endorsed by it.

The generator rejects incomplete or postponed events, ordinary scorelines, calculation exercises, missing scores, tied results where a winner is required, repeated events, unclear prompts and ordering challenges without distinct values. It also enforces an accessible sports-knowledge opener, a daily difficulty curve, sport variety, a strict guessing threshold and a freshness window. If the paid feed has no recent result strong enough to improve the game, the card uses the source-linked knowledge catalog instead of filling a topical quota. A clearly labelled verified reserve appears only if the feed itself is unavailable. Provider or competition corrections may affect later sessions; a started game remains sealed inside its signed game token.

Privacy

Data-minimizing service: no accounts, advertising trackers, marketing pixels, payment processing, or sale of personal information.

Local browser storage remembers an unfinished game, daily result, title count, best score and streak on that browser. Short-lived encrypted game and progress tokens protect puzzle integrity; they are stored in your browser and sent only to Fantasy Seasons when you play or resume. Hosting infrastructure may process ordinary technical and security logs such as IP address, time, path and user agent. The service does not ask for name, email, phone, payment data, contacts, precise location or social profile.

Optional analytics. If you choose Allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 measures page visits, approximate country, device category, traffic source, engagement, scrolling and outbound-link clicks. Advertising storage, ad personalization and Google signals are disabled. The tag does not receive your answers, selections, score, streak, game token or progress token, and URL fragments are excluded. Google Analytics is not loaded before you allow it or if you decline. It may set measurement cookies after consent.

The service is not directed to children under 13. Features that change the intended audience or personal data collected require a new privacy and age-safety review before release.

You can change analytics consent at any time using Analytics choices below. You can remove local game information by clearing site data in your browser. Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information held by the operator. Terms

These Terms are an agreement between you and Ciaran Paul Roche, the independent Pennsylvania-based operator of FantasySeasons.com. By playing or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Entertainment only. Fantasy Seasons is a free sports-knowledge game. It accepts no wagers, deposits, entry fees or purchases and awards no money, prizes or cash value. Puzzles, results, scores and Machine commentary are entertainment, not gambling, wagering, investment or financial advice and not a personalized betting recommendation.

Your responsibility. Do not use site content to place a bet or make a financial decision. Confirm any fact that matters with an official or otherwise authoritative source. Local progress can be lost when browser storage is cleared or unavailable; the service is not a permanent record.

Acceptable use. Do not disrupt the service, bypass security, probe non-public systems, automate abusive traffic, introduce malicious code, impersonate others, infringe third-party rights, manipulate play or use the service unlawfully. The operator may restrict access reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, security or legal rights.

Intellectual property and names. Original game design, writing, branding, code and artwork are protected by applicable law. You receive a limited, revocable permission to play and personally share the public result card. Sports, team, player, league and third-party names are descriptive and remain their owners' property. Fantasy Seasons is independent and not sponsored, endorsed by or affiliated with those parties unless expressly stated.

Disclaimer. The service and third-party sports data are provided “as is” and “as available” and may be delayed, incomplete, changed, corrected or withdrawn. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no warranty is made about accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or a particular outcome.

Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, lost data, opportunity or profit, or losses arising from reliance on game content or third-party sources. These limits do not exclude fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury caused by negligence, mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Pennsylvania law. These Terms are governed by Pennsylvania law and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to non-waivable rights where you live, claims relating to the service must be brought in a state or federal court with proper jurisdiction in Pennsylvania. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited only as necessary and the remainder will continue.

Any future contest, prize, public leaderboard, affiliate, advertising, account or paid feature requires a fresh legal, privacy, security and data-rights review before release. Questions may be sent to CiaranPaulRoche@gmail.com.

Accessibility

Engineering target: WCAG 2.2 Level AA minimum. Fantasy Seasons does not claim formal third-party certification.

The game includes keyboard-operable controls, visible focus indicators, a skip link, semantic landmarks/headings, large touch controls, strong contrast, reduced-motion and increased-contrast support, live announcements, and results not conveyed by color alone. Accessibility is a standing release gate; new features require keyboard, focus, zoom/reflow, contrast, semantic/screen-reader, reduced-motion and error-state review.
